Keyera is proud to partner with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) to support critical conservation efforts in the Beaver Hills and expand NCC’s conservation work with Indigenous Nations.

The Beaver Hills is located in central Alberta and hosts hundreds of distinct species of wildlife and is globally important for a variety of migratory waterfowl and shorebirds. We’re supporting NCC’s work to Keep the Beaver Hills Wild, through expanding conserved areas near existing park lands, adding vital buffer zones for wildlife, and increasing opportunities for people to connect with nature.

Through our partnership, Keyera is also supporting NCC’s new Indigenous-led conservation framework in Alberta that focuses on building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities that are grounded in mutual respect and the desire to achieve significant and lasting conservation outcomes.
