Empowering the next generation
Keyera has once again been named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People – for the second consecutive year! This 2026 recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to creating an environment where young professionals are supported, developed, and inspired to grow.
This annual award recognizes organizations that are leaders in attracting and retaining early-career talent. It celebrates employers across the country who provide outstanding support for young employees through meaningful work experiences, development opportunities, and mentorship.
Keyera first earned a place on this prestigious list in 2025, and we’re proud to have continued building on that strong foundation. The award is more than just an accolade – it’s a sign that we’re empowering the next generation of leaders in our industry.
“We’re incredibly proud to be named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for a second year in a row,” says Amanda Ross, General Manager, Human Resources. “This recognition reflects the investment we make in creating a supportive, growth-oriented environment for early-career professionals. Through programs like our New Grad and Summer Student initiatives, we’re helping young people build a strong start to their careers – and shaping the future of our organization in the process.”
How we support young professionals at Keyera
Here are some of the standout initiatives that helped earn us this recognition:
- New Grad Program: Our structured New Grad Program offers four distinct streams – rotational, non-rotational, engineering-in-training (EIT, and field – designed to guide early-career professionals through their first 3–4 years. New Grads are paired with a mentor in their first year to support their personal and professional development.
- Skill Building Opportunities: We help young professionals build confidence and skills early on, including sessions like “Working in a Corporate Office,” which covers the fundamentals of professionalism, communication, and boundary setting – tailored specifically for those new to the workforce. Skill building opportunities offered to Co-op and Summer Students include training on resume writing to support the next steps in their career journeys.
- Meaningful Work: Whether it’s through our Summer Student Program or full-time early career roles, young professionals at Keyera are given the opportunity to contribute meaningfully from day one – gaining valuable experience while making a difference in our business. By involving early talent in major projects, social investment opportunities like United Way, and leadership opportunities in the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group, Keyera is supporting the development of the next generation of leaders.
Building on a culture of excellence
This recognition comes on the heels of another exciting milestone: Keyera was also named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2026, showcasing our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace for employees of all generations and experience levels.
We’re honoured to be recognized once again for how we support young professionals with opportunities that help them grow, lead, and thrive.
